Privacy and inquiry data
Privacy Policy
AMY CNC uses the business and project information submitted through its request-a-quote form to review machine requirements and respond to inquiries. The form does not accept file uploads. Inquiry records are private, access is limited, and records that do not proceed to an active project are scheduled for deletion after 180 days unless a legitimate legal or business need requires longer retention.

Who is responsible for information submitted on amycnc.com?
AMY CNC is the public-facing operator and privacy contact for amycnc.com. This policy applies to information submitted through the public website and its request-a-quote form. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to sales@amycnc.com.
What information does AMY CNC collect?
The request-a-quote form collects the information a buyer chooses to provide, including company name, contact name, business email, optional telephone number, country, machine interest, workpiece description, optional material, size range, required operations, optional target output, voltage or utility requirements, project notes and privacy consent.
The form does not accept file uploads. If drawings or other files are needed later, AMY CNC will arrange a separate private transfer method.
For security and delivery control, the site also records the submission time, inquiry reference, delivery status and a one-way keyed hash derived from the submitting network address. The raw network address is not stored in the inquiry record. Hosting and security systems may separately process standard server-log information such as network address, browser type, requested URL and timestamps.
Why is this information used?
AMY CNC uses inquiry data to:
- review machine, workpiece, process and utility requirements;
- respond to the buyer and prepare appropriate quotation follow-up;
- maintain a record of requested project steps and communications;
- detect automated abuse, duplicate submissions and delivery failures; and
- meet applicable legal, accounting or dispute-resolution obligations.
Depending on the request and applicable law, these activities rely on the buyer's consent, steps requested before a potential business relationship, AMY CNC's legitimate interest in responding to genuine B2B inquiries and protecting the site, or a legal obligation. Consent can be withdrawn for future processing by contacting AMY CNC, although withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully.
Who may receive the information?
Access is limited to people who need the information to review or respond to the inquiry. Necessary technical providers may process limited information to host the website, deliver email, protect the service or maintain the system. AMY CNC does not sell inquiry data or provide it to unrelated parties for their own advertising.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or as part of a legitimate business reorganization subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection measures.
How long is inquiry data kept?
Inquiries that do not proceed to an active project are scheduled for deletion 180 days after submission. A record may be retained longer when it is connected to an active project, required for legal or accounting obligations, needed to establish or defend a claim, or subject to another legitimate retention requirement. Records retained for an active reason should be reviewed when that reason ends.
How is the information protected?
Inquiry records are stored as private WordPress records and are not exposed through public pages, public search or the public REST API. The form uses server-side validation, anti-automation controls, limited delivery logging and access restrictions. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so buyers should not submit passwords, payment-card data, export-controlled information or other secrets in project notes.
Are cookies or similar technologies used?
The RFQ form uses an essential random session identifier to protect form submission and retain validation state. It is limited to approximately two hours and is configured with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax protections on HTTPS. WordPress, hosting and security infrastructure may use other strictly necessary technical storage. This release does not intentionally set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on public AMY CNC pages.
How is RFQ performance measured?
This release does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, advertising pixels or session-replay tracking. An administrator-only operational report derives aggregate counts from existing private RFQ records by UTC day, selected machine category and current notification status. It does not create a visitor profile, analytics cookie, public measurement endpoint, separate event store or duplicate inquiry dataset.
The report does not copy or group by inquiry references, company or contact details, email, phone, country, workpiece text, project notes, network-address hashes, user agents or referrers. Because no separate analytics dataset is created, aggregate visibility ends when the underlying inquiry is deleted under the retention rules described above.
Can information be processed internationally?
AMY CNC serves international B2B buyers. Information may therefore be processed in countries where AMY CNC personnel or necessary hosting, email and technical providers operate. Where applicable law requires it, appropriate safeguards should be used for international transfers.
What privacy choices and rights may apply?
Depending on local law, a person may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. AMY CNC may need to verify the requester's identity and may retain information where law permits or requires it. A person may also contact the data-protection authority in their country if they believe a request has not been handled appropriately.
Is this site intended for children?
amycnc.com is a business-to-business machinery website and is not directed to children. AMY CNC does not knowingly seek personal information from children through the RFQ form.
How will changes to this policy be communicated?
This policy may be updated when the website, inquiry workflow, providers or legal requirements change. The revised date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes should be reflected here before the related processing begins where reasonably possible.
How can AMY CNC be contacted about privacy?
Email sales@amycnc.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and enough information to identify the relevant inquiry. Do not send passwords, payment information or sensitive project files by ordinary email.
